"Japan
Meets the Nano Republic II" will bring together business
and research leaders from Japan and the Nano Republic of California
to explore current nanotechnology research developments and future
business opportunities. Dr. Hiroshi Yokoyama, Director for the
Nanotechnology Research Institute of AIST, will provide opening
remarks about Japan's efforts to bring the expectations of the
nanotech industry to reality. The event will also spotlight successful
nanotech commercialization in Japan, provide information on how
to receive R&D money from Japan, and feature pitches by Japanese
companies who will be available to meet with potential U.S. partners/investors
after the conference.
