Class 1 - Startup Accounting and Tax Issues

This seminar will address issues including stock-based compensation and cheap stock, revenue recognition, tax loss and credit preservation, and other matters.

Class 2 - Accounting for Stock-based Compensation
• West LA - Wednesday, October 8 • OC - Wednesday, October 29
Stock-based Compensation is an important area of fundamental importance to emerging technology companies and an area that has unique and often complex accounting issues.

Class 3 - Accounting for Equity Instruments
• West LA - Wednesday, November 5 • OC - Wednesday, November 12
Issuing preferred stock, stock options and warrants are a few of the equity related areas that give rise to complex accounting issues. This course will discuss the impact of the issuance of these instruments in terms understandable to emerging technology companies.

Class 4 - Revenue Recognition for Start-Up Companies
• West LA - Wednesday, December 3 • OC - Wednesday, December 10
This course will focus on the key revenue recognition principles that impact emerging technology companies to guide them in this ever changing and complex area.
